Gatte Safety Optics
 
Gatte safety glasses provide protection against moderate impact hazards, metal chips, particles and sparks.  All lenses exceed ANSI Z87 and the 2003 safety standards for strength and heat resistance.  All lens styles also block 100% of UV-A and UV-B rays, including clear.  Only special IRPC lens should be worn around welding operations.  These lenses are marked with a shade number.  Shaded polycarbonate lenses, if marked with shade designation 2.0 through 5.0 provide radiation protection against infrared and ultraviolet (IR/UV) light.
